A delightful Halloween dish that combines classic spaghetti and meatballs with a spooky twist, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces spaghetti
  • Pre-made or homemade meatballs
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • Black olives (2-3 for ‘eyes’)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Once al dente, drain and set aside.
  2. If using pre-made meatballs, follow the package instructions to heat them through. If making homemade meatballs, shape the mixture accordingly and bake or pan-fry until cooked through.
  3. In a large pot, gently heat the marinara sauce over medium heat, stirring occasionally to avoid sticking.
  4. Once the sauce is warm, add the cooked meatballs and let them simmer in the sauce for about 5 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  5. Serve the warm spaghetti on plates, topping each serving with meatballs and sauce.
  6. Slice the black olives in half and use them to create ‘eyes’ on the meatballs, making them look spooky yet inviting.
  7. Finish with a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley for a pop of color. Enjoy your spooky dish!

Notes

Ensure not to overcook the meatballs. Use freshly grated cheese for better flavor.
